Arctic Grey is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer.

A new kind of sales role.

The solutions engineer is the seller. No AE handoff, no scoping politics. You own the deal end-to-end, from first conversation to signed SOW to a happy merchant.

The best sellers in commerce are the ones who can actually build the thing. We are betting our whole sales department on that idea.

No need to build anything other than relationships and connections; this is personal.

At most agencies, the AE owns the merchant. You show up to talk shop. The deal closes on someone else's calendar. Your commission, if you see one, is a slice of a slice. You scope the build, hand off the spec, and never hear what shipped.

We flip that. You source the lead. You run the call. You scope the work. You write the SOW. You sign the deal. You stay on as the merchant's partner through delivery. One set of hands. Yours.

You work alongside the design and dev team. You pitch a prototype. They build it. The merchant sees it on the second call.

Shopify Projects

The sell is simple. The focus is new merchants.

Enterprise. Floor is $10M.

No SMB. No "is this a $50K project" calls. You sell big work to brands who care about it. Floor is $10M in annual revenue. Ceiling is the billion-dollar names. The sweet spot is the brand that wants to grow.

Mostly commission. Uncapped.

Base salary plus uncapped commission. The base is real, not symbolic. The upside is real, not a story. Three honest scenarios. You sit on one of these three lines by month twelve.

You hit the minimum. Steady close cadence on mid-market migrations. Below this, the model is not working.

You run the playbook well. Mix of Plus migrations and existing Shopify work. On-target earnings.

You close enterprise deals and the merchant remembers your name. Uncapped from here. No ceiling.

We review the comp model every quarter. Bonus on deals over $500K. Bonus on client expansion.
